Welcome to Spring 2026 Smithfield Little League Baseball!

What’s Included for Every Player:

• Team Hat & Jersey: Every player will receive a team hat and jersey before their first league game.
• Equipment Assistance: The league can provide helmets, bats, and catcher’s equipment upon request through your child’s coach at the start of the season.
• What to Bring: All that’s needed is a glove, baseball pants, baseball socks & cleats (sneakers for BlastBall and A Ball).

Parent Code of Conduct

Registration Information:

• $130 per player for registrations completed by December 31, 2025.
• Beginning January 1, 2026, the fee will increase to $140 per player.

Smithfield Little League Parent Code of Conduct

1. I will prioritize my child’s enjoyment and not force them to participate.
2. I understand that the game is for youth, not adults, and will model positive behavior at all times.
3. I will communicate any health or safety concerns to the coach.
4. I will learn the league rules and respect them.
5. I will show respect and courtesy to all players, coaches, officials, and spectators.
6. I will avoid unsportsmanlike behavior, including taunting, profane language, or refusing to shake hands.
7. I will ensure my child plays safely and responsibly.
8. I will teach my child to resolve conflicts respectfully.
9. I will demand respect for all, regardless of differences in race, creed, color, gender, or ability.
10. I will celebrate my child’s efforts and teach them that doing their best matters more than winning.
11. I will never ridicule or yell at players for mistakes or losses.
12. I will emphasize skill development over winning, especially in younger age groups.
13. I will support my child’s emotional and physical well-being over personal desires for victory.
14. I will respect officials and coaches, addressing concerns at appropriate times.
15. I will refrain from the use of drugs, tobacco, or alcohol at sports events.
16. I will not coach my child or others unless I am an official team coach.
